Our tutor Ms. Young made us all create collages just from the headlines of political print publications. This helped our group of seven decide the issue of our first project, Manifesto. 

Torn between “‘How to save our planet’” and “’Trump’s racist tweets’”, we chose the latter. Based on personal experiences in foreign countries we all felt strongly against Racism.  

During this exercise we came up with six polemical statements in the context of racism which inherently became the foundation of our project.

• We need to live in a world without borders
• No one should be prioritised
• Unified humanity is the future
• A soul is worth more than its skin
• All humans are our brothers and sisters
• You are one of Us

Next, we advocated some changes addressing our issue. We truly believe that enacting upon these changes would be a step towards eradicating racism.
