Artefact 3.3

Gary asked us to bring in a shoe to class, just to tear it apart. Little did I know that I would end up creating something from scratch and just from sheer imagination.

He also made us do different exercises relating to the distorted and deconstructed essence of what we were doing such as creating an artwork while a classmate talked about the shoe or drawing while feeling the shoe but not looking at it. The end results were astounding.

Learning from this lesson, I decided to apply it to my object. I created 10 pieces of work in a day while focusing on the distorted quality of my object.
