Responses to the questions posed during the workshop ‘Art and Design Methods’ by Ekua McMorris.
We had to present the Past, Present and Future of our chosen object. A friend chose his hair that he hadn’t cut for 6 months, another chose his photographs of his friends, one chose the dress she wore and another a gifted notebook. Just when we form a relationship with a seemingly unexceptional object, it develops magical proprieties. I chose my 7 year old camera.

The Past of my Object

The Present of my Object

The Future of my Object
Here, in my final response, I have tried to layer my photographs like my memories. How I remember things, how one memory triggers another, how an incident would appear sharper one day and be blurred the next time behind a different sharper incident, and even if it’s the same incident I’ll remember it differently each time, new thoughts will unearth, forgotten details will be revealed.
