A visit to Kew

While my family was visiting me in London, I took the opportunity to take them to the Kew gardens and also attempt to experiment with unmaterialised ideas. My artefact was a glass object from which one could see distorted images from the real world. It reminded me of my younger self when I used to live in bubble of fictional books, from the magic faraway tree to Tom Sawyer’s adventures to James and his Giant Peach. I tried to protect myself from the real world by living in this fictional bubble. While till day I do remember the places I hid to keep myself protected, the real world from that time are just distorted fragments.

I wanted to experiment with the idea of living in a bubble and looking through its glassy water like walls at the distorted reality.
